WASHINGTON — Mike Davis, founder and president of Article III Project (A3P), issued the following statement after the Senate voted to confirm Pam Bondi as President Trump’s Attorney General of the United States:
“Pam Bondi will make an excellent Attorney General of the United States for President Trump. With her eight years of experience serving as the Florida Attorney General, Pam is ready to lead on Day 1. Attorney General Pam Bondi will bring much-needed reforms to the badly broken Justice Department, including the FBI, which was unlawfully politicized and weaponized against political enemies. The Biden Democrats’ republic-ending lawfare targeting President Trump, his top aides, and his supporters is now over. The Trump 47 Justice Department must thoroughly investigate and hold accountable those responsible. Prosecutors, agents, judges, and their co-conspirators who abused their power and weaponized the legal system should prepare for the legal consequences of their actions. Nobody is above law,” said Davis.
A3P spearheaded a grassroots campaign that has generated nearly 12,000 calls, emails, and social media interactions between constituents and their senators, who overwhelmingly urged a vote in favor of Pam Bondi's nomination.
The Article III Project (A3P) was founded by veteran GOP operative and attorney Mike Davis, who, after helping win the Senate confirmation battles of Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, developed the reputation as a “take-no-prisoners conservative eager to challenge the left with hardball tactics,” as reported in The New York Times.
A3P defends constitutionalist judges, punches back on radical assaults on judicial independence (like court-packing) and opposes judicial and other nominees who are outside of the mainstream. Davis previously served as Chief Counsel for Nominations to Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) on the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and led the Senate confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a record number of circuit court judges.
