WASHINGTON — Mike Davis, founder and president of the Article III Project, issued the following statement after the Senate confirmed Todd Blanche as America's next Attorney General:

“By voting to confirm Todd Blanche as the 88th Attorney General of the United States, Senate Republicans delivered a major victory for President Trump, the American people, and the rule of law.

“Blanche is the right man, for the right job, at the right moment in American history. His priorities are clear: prosecute illegal aliens, human traffickers, drug traffickers, and dangerous criminals. Blanche will protect the American people and ensure the Justice Department is never weaponized as a partisan sword as happened under Obama and Biden. Today marks the four-year anniversary of Biden’s unprecedented, illegal, and unnecessarily destructive Mar-a-Lago raid on Trump. Blanche must and will hold those accountable for their weaponization, so their republic-ending lawfare never happens again.

“No one did more to get Todd Blanche confirmed than Chuck Grassley. He quietly works hard and gets the job done, as he always does for President Trump. Now Blanche can get back to work, fully confirmed, while helping Trump Make America Safe Again,” said Davis.
